Student Books

WorldWise – Content-based Literacy provides students with gradually increasing challenges. At each of grade, the student books cover topics relating to outcomes of the science curriculum.

The texts introduce and revisit themes and concepts across the grades and build on initial concepts with increasing complexity.

Each of the student books:

• Contain texts with relatable content that will immediately engage students
• Demonstrate the diversity of the world students live in
• The titles contain graphic devices and striking photographs to support the content
• Feature research opportunities with the Find out more and Think about activities
• Are linked to outcomes of the science curriculum
• Introduce and revisit themes and concepts across the grades and build on initial concepts with increasing complexity
• Represent a specific text type. There are a range of text types represented across the Year Levels.
